Every hotel and Airbnb reviewed here was personally booked and personally paid for, which means I have absolutely no reason to be kind about the things that disappointed me, and every reason to be honest about the things that genuinely impressed me. Scores are out of ten. I do not compare properties against each other. I compare them against what they promised.
